Travel to Daliangshan and Lugu Lake by bike (with support-vehicle)

D1（09.08）: Arrival in Chengdu
Arrival in Chengdu.Met and transfered to Chendgu Babao Hotel***.

D2 (10.08): Chengdu—Leshan-Ebian  250km
Drive to Ebian via Mt. Emeishan,one of the four Buddhist sacred mountains of China.Continue to drive to Ebian alongside the Dadu-river.

D3 (11.08):Ebian-Meigu  160km
We are heading to the region of Daliangshan via crossing a 2,840m pass by support vehicle,then starting our cycling tour.The mountainous Daliangshan area is predominantly inhabited by the ethnic Yi People,who are easily identified by their corlorful dressing.The Yi women usually wear a large black hat.Annually in summer the local Yi People will celebrate the traditional Torch Festival,which is began on August 11. 2012 and lasts for about 1 week.We’ll explore this event during this tour.

D4 (12.08):Meigu-Butuo or Puge  120km or 200km
We will cycle alongside the Meigu river to a small market Luo’eyigan,then continue to head to Butuo or Puge,both are famous for it’s traditional celebration of Torch Festival.

D5 (13.08): Butuo(Puge)—Xichang 120km
After enjoying this spectacular event with Yi People.Drive to Xichang,the capital city of Liangshan Autonomous Prefecture of Yi People.

D6(14.08）:Xichang—Yanyuan 140km
Driving alongside the Anning river,then heading to the west via crossing a 2,300m high mountain pass.After crossing the Yalong Bridge,cycling to Yanyuan.

D7(15.08): Yanyuan-lugu Lake 130km
Cycling to the crystal-clear Lugu Lake, the second deepest lake of Yunan.More than 20 villages of Muosuo People are located around the lake.In the coming 2 days we’ll explore this beautiful place and their inhabitants by cycle.

D8 - D9 (16-17.08):Lugu Lake

D10 (18.08):Lugu Lake-Ninglang-Lijiang 280km
Transfer to Lijiang by support vehicle.

D11-12 (19-20.08):Lijiang
